XE provides live foreign exchange rates and currency conversion, and is one of the most commonly used references for the mid-market rate.

That reference matters because the mid-market rate is the number against which a bank's or payment provider's margin becomes visible: comparing the rate you are offered to XE's shows what the conversion is actually costing.

It also offers international transfers, though for regular settlement it is worth comparing total cost against specialist providers.
