Feedly is an RSS reader that consolidates scattered sources — blogs, news sites, newsletters — into one place you control.

RSS matters because it is not algorithmic: you see everything published by the sources you chose, in order, without a platform deciding what to surface, which is the opposite of how social feeds work.

It supports organizing sources into topics and filtering by keyword, which is what makes following a large number of sources practical rather than overwhelming.
